This programme may change depending on weather and leader availability.

Note to Cub Parents:

  1. Dropping off: Unfortunately we are experiencing some of our young people being dropped off with out their adults checking that there are sufficient (2) Beaver Leaders present for the meeting. We all work and sometimes get delayed in traffic. Please can we ask that you come down to the gate at Avening Green, or the door at Cromhall, to hand over your Beaver to a Leader?
  2. Parents on Duty: We rely on you for another pair of hands and eyes during a Beaver meeting. All the Leaders work full-time and may not arrive to meetings on time due to the restraints of work. Therefore, we ask you, if you can’t make it to your turn as POD, you should arrange a swap with another parent or perhaps a relative? We are sorry but we can’t do this for you.
  3. Clothing: Please make sure all items your Beavers bring to meetings are NAMED. When attending ALL meetings their uniform jumper and kneckie must be worn, waterproofs should be brought to EVERY Avening Green meeting and again should be named.

Parents/Guardians
When at Avening Green Scouts should always be prepared for bad weather, suitable footwear and a raincoat with hood.

If you are unable to attend as POD, please arrange with another Parent/Guardian to swap or cover and let a leader know in plenty of time so we know who to expect.
